Role Summary

The Graduate Digital Design Engineer will join the hardware development team, contributing to the design of complex ASIC systems. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge digital and mixed-signal designs while learning from experienced engineers in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Interpreting high-level requirements to create micro-architecture specifications.
  • Developing synthesizable RTL using SystemVerilog for ASIC digital blocks, ensuring compliance with constraints.
  • Producing design documentation and participating in design reviews.
  • Collaborating with teams across digital design, verification, and DFT.
  • Maintaining quality using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
  • Running simulations and performing debugging to resolve issues.
  • Contributing to process improvements in digital design.

Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Desirable: Internship or industrial placement in a related field.
  • Strong understanding of digital logic design.
  • Familiarity with HDL languages (e.g., Verilog, VHDL) and simulation tools.
  • Exposure to scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, Tcl) is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Linux environments.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
