Graduate Analog Design Engineer

Role Summary

The Graduate Analog Design Engineer will join the Sensata design centre in Swindon, focusing on the design and evaluation of analog integrated circuits. The role involves collaboration within a multidisciplinary team of electronics experts, pushing the boundaries of design from specifications to qualified silicon.

Experience Level

Entry-level position; recent graduates preferred.

Responsibilities

The main responsibilities include:

• Participating in analog block specification, design, verification, and documentation.
• Engaging in architectural design, abstract modelling, and system simulation.
• Following company policies surrounding design processes and documentation.
• Overseeing and critiquing block layouts.
• Assisting in lab evaluations of circuits and developing necessary supporting hardware and software.
• Engaging in wider technical activities such as qualification, failure analysis, and production test design.

Requirements

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• A university degree in Physics or Engineering.
• Strong understanding of analog electronics and foundational knowledge in digital electronics.
• Experience in the analog IC block design and evaluation cycle.
• Ability to work in a team and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, organization, planning, and time management skills.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and MATLAB.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with suppliers and customers.
• Permanent rights to work in the United Kingdom.
