Role Summary
The GPU Verification Engineer will join the GFX Verification team to ensure comprehensive verification of GPU components, adapting to dynamic project requirements.
Experience Level
This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in ASIC verification, with specific expertise in Verilog and System Verilog.
Key Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of this role include:
- Collaborating with lead architects and design teams to understand implementation features.
- Developing robust test plans for both synthetic testing and real workload traces.
- Debugging verification test failures in cooperation with design teams to identify defects.
- Ensuring the performance, power, and functional expectations are met for next-generation GFXIP.
Essential Requirements
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Five or more years of experience in ASIC verification.
- Proficiency in Verilog and System Verilog programming.
- Strong background in C/C++ programming, with experience in both Linux and Windows environments.
- Ability to debug Verilog RTL code using simulation/emulation tools; adept in creating test plans and coverage.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Perl and Python.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with attention to detail.
- Good English communication skills, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Preferred experience in graphics pipelines and knowledge of computer architecture.
- Self-motivated and capable of independently driving tasks to completion.
Education Requirements
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering with a specialization in Digital Systems/VLSI is required, along with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
