Role Summary

The GPU Verification Engineer will join the GFX Verification team to ensure comprehensive verification of GPU components, adapting to dynamic project requirements.

Experience Level

This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in ASIC verification, with specific expertise in Verilog and System Verilog.

Key Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Collaborating with lead architects and design teams to understand implementation features.
  • Developing robust test plans for both synthetic testing and real workload traces.
  • Debugging verification test failures in cooperation with design teams to identify defects.
  • Ensuring the performance, power, and functional expectations are met for next-generation GFXIP.

Essential Requirements

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Five or more years of experience in ASIC verification.
  • Proficiency in Verilog and System Verilog programming.
  • Strong background in C/C++ programming, with experience in both Linux and Windows environments.
  • Ability to debug Verilog RTL code using simulation/emulation tools; adept in creating test plans and coverage.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Perl and Python.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with attention to detail.
  • Good English communication skills, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Preferred experience in graphics pipelines and knowledge of computer architecture.
  • Self-motivated and capable of independently driving tasks to completion.

Education Requirements

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering with a specialization in Digital Systems/VLSI is required, along with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
