GPU Physical Design Engineer Lead
Role Summary
The GPU Physical Design Engineer Lead role involves implementing ASIC designs for Integrated/Discrete Graphics and AI SoCs using advanced process technology and EDA tools. The engineer will collaborate within a team responsible for SoC level physical design, optimization flows, and ensuring high-quality output through various verification processes.
Experience Level
Senior; requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering with 9+ years of relevant work experience, or a Master's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Contributing to ASIC designs for Integrated and Discrete Graphics and AI SoCs.
- Managing SoC level physical design and optimization flows.
- Defining design requirements for optimized designs across various architectures and technologies.
- Collaborating with project team members to address design cycle issues.
- Supervising and leading a small team while ensuring effective communication with architecture and design teams.
Requirements
Minimum qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering with 9+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 6+ years.
- Experience in Logic Design, VLSI/ASIC Design, and Computer Architecture.
- Proven experience with ASIC design flows including floorplanning and static timing analysis.
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux, Perl, and TCL programming.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in SoC integration methodologies.
- Knowledge of Clock Construction Methodology and Power estimation/optimization.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
