Role Summary
As a GFX IP Verification Lead at Advanced Micro Devices, you will play a vital role in the verification of GPU projects. You will work as part of the GFX team where you will contribute to the development of cutting-edge graphics processing technologies. Your responsibilities will include ensuring quality through verification and working closely with other teams to understand implementation features.
Experience Level
This position requires a minimum of eight years of experience in ASIC verification, along with strong familiarity with verification methodologies and languages.
Responsibilities
In your role, you will:
- Collaborate with lead architects and block design teams to identify features for testing.
- Create and implement robust test plans for synthetic testing and real workload traces.
- Analyze and debug verification test failures in collaboration with design teams.
- Ensure that the next generation of GFX IP meets performance, power, and functional expectations.
Requirements
The ideal candidate must possess:
- A minimum of eight years in ASIC verification.
- Proficiency in Verilog and System Verilog.
- Strong C/C++ programming skills and familiarity with Linux and Windows environments.
- Knowledge of ASIC design with experience debugging Verilog RTL code using simulation and emulation tools.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Perl and Python.
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Experience with graphics pipelines and computer architecture is preferred.
- A self-starter attitude, capable of managing tasks independently.
- Outstanding teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Education Requirements
B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with a specialization in Digital Systems/VLSI.
