Role Overview
The GFX - IP Verification Lead position at Advanced Micro Devices requires an experienced SoC Architect adept in System Architecture. This role involves leading architecture teams, engaging with patent-holding experts, and navigating between design teams and executives to ensure that product architecture meets roadmaps and requirements. A strategic focus on Power, Performance, and Area is crucial while also managing project timelines and costs.

Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate strong GPU GFX expertise.
- Understand performance features and conduct Testplan implementation.
- Oversee shader and feature test implementations.
- Analyze SV, C, and C++ Testbench frameworks.
- Utilize strong GPU pipeline debugging expertise.
- Innovate methodologies to enhance verification processes.
- Maintain a focused, driven approach with results orientation.
- Timeliness in completing tasks and projects.
Requirements
- Proficient in IP-level ASIC verification and debugging firmware and RTL code.
- Experience with UVM testbenches and familiar with both Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Strong knowledge of Verilog, System Verilog, C, and C++ programming languages.
- Experience in graphics pipeline development and UVM-based verification frameworks.
- Skilled in automating workflows in a distributed computing environment.
- Familiarity with simulation profiles for efficiency improvement and acceleration using HLS tools.
- Competence in scripting languages such as Perl or Python.
- Leadership or mentorship experience is beneficial.
- Exposure to video codec systems or similar multimedia solutions preferred.
Education Requirements
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
