Role Summary
Drive development and lab deployment support for wireless access and wired broadband systems, focused on 5G/6G and related technologies. Integrate FPGA logic, embedded firmware, RF hardware, and signaling protocols into testable network configurations and lead cross-functional delivery.

Mid-level β typically 5+ years of relevant FPGA and wireless systems experience.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and implement FPGA logic and firmware for wireless and broadband systems.
- Integrate hardware, embedded software, and signaling protocols into complete network test configurations (eNB/gNB, BBU/DU/CU).
- Coordinate with vendors to plan and execute firmware, software, and hardware testing.
- Evaluate and deploy test tools and automation frameworks and run laboratory measurements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentor engineers in the lab environment.
- Lead and manage complex projects across matrixed engineering teams to meet delivery timelines.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience:
- 5+ years of FPGA programming experience.
- Experience developing embedded firmware and software for wireless solutions.
- Deep knowledge of LTE and NR stack layers (L1/PHY, MAC, RRC).
- Expertise in OFDM, modulation, timing/synchronization, and random access procedures.
- Proficiency with MATLAB and simulation tools.
- Hands-on RF hardware experience with spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters, and network analyzers.
- Experience with radio/BBU/DU/CU configuration and management for eNB/gNB.
- Familiarity with DSP concepts and 5G/6G technologies; experience with routing, switching, and security in wireless access networks.
