Job Title
Forward Product Engineering Lead
Role Summary
Serve as the primary US-based technical interface between Product Engineering and Operations for NVIDIA Networking products. Strengthen visibility, alignment, and responsiveness as products move from development into high-volume manufacturing.
Establish trusted relationships across Engineering, Operations, Planning, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and leadership; act as first responder for product issues and ensure timely, accurate two-way communication of product status, risks, and mitigations.
Experience Level
Senior-level. Requires 12+ years in semiconductor product engineering, manufacturing, process engineering, or operations.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include delivering operational insight, coordinating cross-functional responses to issues, and supporting product transitions to mass production.
- Provide ongoing visibility into product health, manufacturing readiness, yield performance, risks, and execution status.
- Translate technical engineering details into actionable operational guidance for Operations, Planning, and Supply Chain.
- Act as primary liaison between engineering teams (including teams in Israel) and US Operations, establishing operating mechanisms that align both sides.
- Surface and address operational concerns early to prevent escalation.
- Function as first responder for product-related operational crises: coordinate engineering experts and drive structured communications.
- Support NPI-to-MP transitions: monitor yield trends, readiness milestones, and process updates.
- Participate in operational reviews, readiness forums, partner concern calls, planning meetings, and war rooms.
- Drive transparency, accountability, and proactive communication across global teams and time zones.
Requirements
Required skills and experience.
- 12+ years experience in semiconductor product engineering, manufacturing, process engineering, or operations.
- Deep understanding of the semiconductor lifecycle from silicon development through volume manufacturing, including yield management and test operations.
- Proven experience leading complex technical issues and driving multi-functional resolutions.
- Strong executive communication and presentation skills.
- Direct experience with networking, datacenter, AI, ASIC, or high-performance semiconductor products.
- Experience serving as a technical liaison between engineering and operations; able to challenge technical assumptions and assess manufacturing/planning impacts.
- Track record of improving operational visibility, accelerating issue identification, reducing late-stage partner concerns, and building scalable operating models.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD (BS/MS/PhD) or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related technical field; equivalent practical experience accepted.
