Role Summary
Develop embedded firmware and test software for optical DSP PHY products used in high-bandwidth data-center links. The team owns embedded FW, customer SDKs, lab scripts, and GUI tools and supports the product lifecycle from lab bring-up to customer release.

Responsibilities
The role focuses on firmware and test infrastructure for DSP-based optical PHYs.
- Develop embedded C firmware to control DSP hardware.
- Write C and Python test code, utilities, GUIs, and regression/simulation infrastructure.
- Take features from design and review through implementation, testing, and customer release.
- Debug complex HW/SW issues, drive root-cause analysis, and track fixes in Jira.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and validation teams during lab bring-up and field deployment.

Must-have: Understanding of networking fundamentals (OSI model), with emphasis on PHY through data-link layers.
