Role Summary
Lead and execute front-end (FE) product quality activities for automotive memory products at the Fab 6 site. Develop quality strategy, metrics, and processes; drive cross-functional initiatives to reduce field failures and customer returns; and partner with fab teams on corrective and preventive actions.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities focus on quality strategy, data-driven problem identification, and cross-functional execution to reduce defects and customer returns.
- Develop, communicate, and monitor quality strategy and line-of-sight metrics for automotive products.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives and enabling projects supporting automotive quality objectives.
- Develop and drive compliance with global business processes related to automotive product quality.
- Manage projects to implement new initiatives and provide tactical support to fab teams.
- Establish and deploy BE–FE collaboration best practices (for example, customer return material DPM forecast and reduction).
- Perform data mining on reliability failures, generate defect paretos, and work with Yield Enhancement to drive process improvements.
- Define and implement business processes and metrics to meet field risk, customer return DPM, and automotive eligibility targets.
- Serve as subject-matter expert on reliability failure modes, detection methods, and related investigations.
- Partner with fab teams to define and implement corrective and preventive actions based on customer feedback and failure analysis.
Requirements
Minimum technical skills and domain knowledge required for the role.
- Understanding of electrical device characteristics and device parameters relation to fabrication processes.
- Knowledge of semiconductor device physics, operation, and product reliability.
- Experience with statistical methods, data analysis, or data mining for failure investigation.
- Electrical failure analysis skills and familiarity with failure-mode investigation.
- Experience with CMOS or silicon-based memory devices and memory chip process flow.
- Familiarity with semiconductor/memory chip reliability mechanisms.
- Ability to relate product layout to process marginality and product testing.
Education Requirements
Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Materials Science, Systems Science, or a related field. (No alternative degree or equivalent-experience language was specified.)
