Job Title

Experienced Hardware Verification Engineer - (AI/ML)

Role Summary

The engineer will plan and implement verification for next-generation Arm ML and neural-network IP. The role focuses on SystemVerilog/UVM-based verification, collaborating with architecture and RTL teams to ensure functional correctness and deliver production-quality IP.

Work in a verification team in Lund, Sweden, supporting ML/AI hardware blocks and associated verification environments and automation.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design and develop SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches and verification environments.
  • Create and execute verification plans, testcases, and coverage strategies for ML/NN IP.
  • Collaborate with RTL designers, architects and software teams to identify and resolve functional issues.
  • Develop and maintain verification automation, regression flows and debug infrastructure.
  • Analyze failures, track bugs, and drive closure of verification issues to meet quality targets.

Requirements

Must-have and preferred skills:

  • Strong practical experience with SystemVerilog and UVM for IP-level verification.
  • Experience verifying ML/AI or neural-network hardware is preferred.
  • Familiarity with simulation tools, coverage-driven verification, and verification flows.
  • Scripting skills for test automation (e.g., Python, Perl, Shell).
  • Good debugging skills and experience working in cross-functional teams.
  • Nice-to-have: experience with emulation/FPGAs, formal methods or performance verification.
