Executive Director of Established Nodes Product Strategies
Role Summary
Lead creation and management of a Technical Product Management team focused on product strategies for established process nodes and the emerging 3D/Chiplet ecosystem. Align product, R&D, technical sales and partners to drive adoption of Synopsys EDA solutions and to define product roadmap requirements.
Experience Level
Senior β 25+ years of relevant EDA and semiconductor product management and marketing experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Define and execute strategy for established-node designs and align it with advanced-node offerings and company objectives.
- Build and lead a product management organization that produces requirements, technical collateral, and go-to-market support for established-node solutions.
- Coordinate with product management, R&D, technical sales, and ecosystem teams to align verification needs across nodes for 3D/Chiplet designs.
- Engage with customers and partners to embed Synopsys ICV solutions into their design flows and to inform product roadmaps.
- Drive collaborative partner initiatives and joint marketing programs that integrate Synopsys products with ecosystem solutions.
- Act as advisor to R&D on Process Design Kit (PDK) approaches and optional implementation methods when requested.
- Train and enable global technical sales and marketing teams on established-node market needs and solutions.
- Negotiate and influence high-level partner activities to align with Synopsys strategy.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience:
- Deep expertise in the semiconductor ecosystem, including foundry engagement and EDA PDK development.
- Proven track record building and growing product management teams that support global product and customer needs.
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills with senior executives, partners, and customers.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results under time pressure and to lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to produce executive-level presentations.
- Experience embedding solutions into customer design flows and collaborating with partners for product integrations.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% for customer and partner engagement.
Nice-to-have:
- Recognized relationships within the established-node semiconductor community and ecosystem.
- Experience specifically with 3D and Chiplet verification flows.
Education Requirements
BS or MS in Electrical Engineering and/or Device Physics required; PhD in a related field is desired.
