Equipment Engineer - Test Laboratory
Role Summary
Maintain and operate a semiconductor test laboratory to ensure readiness, safety, calibration, preventive maintenance, and reliable operation of ATE systems and test instruments. Work closely with Test Engineering to support hardware bring-up, manual test setups, debugging, and validation.
This is an operational role combining hands-on troubleshooting, lab logistics and inventory management, mechanical design review participation, and documentation maintenance. Location: Muntinlupa, Philippines.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities focus on maintaining lab readiness, performing preventive maintenance and calibration, troubleshooting hardware, and supporting Test Engineering.
- Ensure lab readiness, cleanliness, and compliance with safety and ESD controls.
- Perform preventive maintenance and manage calibration of ATE systems and test instruments; maintain PM logs and calibration records.
- Maintain inventory of ATE systems, instruments, mechanical parts, consumables, and test hardware.
- Troubleshoot ATE systems, DUT boards, load-board interfaces and test instruments; coordinate vendor diagnostics and repairs as needed.
- Manage logistics for receiving, storing, transferring, and dispatching test hardware and materials.
- Collaborate with Test Engineering to prepare and execute manual test setups, bring up test programs and hardware, debug, and validate test flows.
- Participate in mechanical design reviews for load boards, contactors, and test fixtures.
- Maintain and update laboratory procedures, documentation, and communication with stakeholders.
Requirements
Required skills and experience to perform the role; preferred items listed separately.

Must-have: Knowledge of electronics measurement and test equipment and strong troubleshooting/diagnostic skills for tester hardware, load-board interfaces, and instruments.

Must-have: Familiarity with ESD control, clean handling, safety, and semiconductor hardware best practices.

Must-have: Ability to maintain calibration and preventive maintenance records and follow PM procedures.

Must-have: Practical experience with lab inventory, logistics, and vendor coordination.

Must-have: Excellent written and verbal English communication and documentation skills.

Nice-to-have: Prior experience in semiconductor ATE environments; experience with Cohu DmDX testers is highly preferred.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or a related engineering field is required (as stated in the posting).
