Engineering Technician (Sustaining)
The Sustaining Technician supports Product and Test Engineers by operating and maintaining automated test equipment (ATE) for sample testing, collecting and compiling test data, and ensuring tester and lab equipment readiness to maintain product continuity after mass production.
This role is part of the sustaining engineering team and focuses on tester operation, calibration, debugging, load board repair, and lab bench validation activities.
Mid-level — typically requires a minimum of 3 years' experience as a technician handling testers or in manufacturing.
The primary responsibilities include operating and maintaining production testers, supporting engineers with testing and data, and managing lab equipment.
Must-have and helpful skills for the role.
Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Physics, Computer, or related field.
