Engineering Program Manager / Project Manager

Role Summary

Member of the Connectivity Engineering organization responsible for driving programs from product and IP definition through NPI and ramp to volume production. Leads cross-functional product development teams and aligns engineering and operations execution to meet business goals.

Accountable for program execution, schedule, cost, technical performance and customer satisfaction for assigned products.

Experience Level

Mid-level. The team will consider candidates at various experience levels during the interview process and place hires at the appropriate level.

Responsibilities

The Engineering Program Manager is expected to:

  • Manage end-to-end program execution and day-to-day program activities.
  • Lead cross-functional core teams and coordinate engineering, operations, manufacturing and product management.
  • Define milestones and master schedules; track progress and resolve schedule or scope issues.
  • Manage cost, schedule and technical performance from MRD/PRD through design, NPI and ramp to stable production.
  • Partner with engineering on design criteria, integration and test activities.
  • Support field sales and customer escalation to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and present program updates and reviews to management and stakeholders.
  • Negotiate, resolve conflicts and drive consensus among diverse technical and non-technical teams.

Requirements

Must-have skills and conditions:

  • Familiarity with silicon product and IP development lifecycles.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects: prioritization, planning and task delegation.
  • Strong ownership and problem-solving skills with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience communicating program status and key issues to senior management and customers.
  • Ability to coordinate implementation tasks across development and manufacturing teams to meet timelines.
  • Experience working with engineering, operations, legal and compliance teams to create or follow processes.
  • Willingness and ability to work onsite five days per week in Pavia, Italy.
  • May require eligibility to access export-controlled technology; non-U.S. applicants may be subject to export license review prior to employment.
