Engineer, NAND Silicon Design Validation
Role Summary
Perform pre-silicon concept development and post-silicon validation for NAND Flash memory products. Work with designers, R&D, manufacturing, and QA to verify builds, diagnose failures, and qualify product configurations across the full product lifecycle.
The role includes simulations, device characterization, electrical failure analysis, and documentation of validation results. You will also help integrate AI-assisted tools to improve engineering workflows.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include verification, validation, and cross-functional troubleshooting.
- Develop, validate, and qualify new NAND Flash memory products and product configurations.
- Use CAD tools and Verilog simulations for build verification and circuit analysis.
- Identify build marginalities and recommend circuit fixes.
- Perform electrical failure analysis and device characterization using engineering benches and testers.
- Support preparation and verification of engineering samples.
- Serve as a technical point of contact to coordinate issues between R&D, Manufacturing, Business Units, and QA.
- Integrate AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency and contribute AI-enabled process improvements.

Must-have:
- Strong foundation in semiconductor device physics and circuit design/analysis.
- Hands-on experience with Verilog and Cadence tools.
- Proficiency with Linux and Bash.
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow for engineering workflows.
- Data analysis skills (Python, JMP) and experience interpreting measurement results.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Baseline digital proficiency and AI literacy for responsible use of AI-enabled tools.

Nice-to-have:
- Experience developing pre-silicon emulation platforms and RISC-V CPU design projects.
- Experience with electrical failure-analysis equipment and device testers.
- Familiarity integrating AI-assisted tools into engineering test and validation processes.
Education Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in Physics is required.
