Engineer, NAND Silicon Design Validation
Role Summary
Work on both pre-silicon concept development and post-silicon validation for NAND Flash memory products. The role spans simulation, device characterization, failure analysis, and cross-functional problem resolution across R&D, manufacturing, and quality teams.
Experience Level
Entry-level. The role requires a minimum of about 2 years of relevant semiconductor validation or circuit/device design experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include validating new NAND products, verifying builds, and supporting product readiness.
- Develop, validate, and qualify new NAND Flash memory products.
- Define and validate product configuration parameters and build verification flows.
- Use CAD tools and Verilog simulations for circuit analysis and verification.
- Identify build marginalities and recommend circuit-related fixes.
- Perform electrical failure analysis and determine root causes of device issues.
- Use engineering benches and testers for device characterization and failure analysis.
- Support preparation and testing of engineering samples.
- Integrate AI-assisted tools to improve engineering efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with R&D, designers, manufacturing, business units, and quality assurance to resolve product-specific issues.

Must-have: Minimum 2 years' experience in validation, design validation, or circuit/device design within the semiconductor industry.

Education Requirements
