Responsible for physical layout design and development of analog, mixed-signal, custom digital blocks, standard cells and full-chip implementations. Works with global engineering teams to deliver validated layouts on schedule.
Role includes layout verification, automation, and mentoring of team members to meet project quality and schedule targets.

Responsibilities
Primary duties include:
- Design and develop block- and chip-level layouts for analog, mixed-signal and custom digital circuits, including standard cells.
- Perform layout verification and checks: LVS, DRC, antenna, shielding, matching, latch-up, EM/IR, totem checks, and quality documentation.
- Develop digital block layouts using automated place-and-route tools.
- Create and maintain layout automation and scripts (basic Skill coding and other automation methods).
- Ensure on-time delivery of block layouts with acceptable quality and documentation.
- Plan and estimate area/time, schedule tasks, delegate work, and coordinate multiple projects.
- Review and support team members' sub-block layouts and provide technical guidance.
- Coordinate and present progress to global engineering teams; participate in project management activities.
- Apply AI and other automation techniques to streamline layout execution tasks.

Must-have: Proven experience in physical layout design and verification for analog, mixed-signal, or custom digital blocks; familiarity with LVS/DRC and common layout checks.
- Experience with automated place-and-route flows for digital block layout.
- Practical scripting/automation skills (e.g., SKILL or similar) to support layout automation.
- Ability to meet delivery schedules, document work, and communicate with global teams.
- Experience reviewing and mentoring junior layout engineers.
