Role Summary

We are seeking experienced System-on-Chip (SoC) Emulation engineers to join our diverse team at Arm. This role focuses on performance architecture and analysis of Arm SoCs/SoPs in both pre- and post-silicon environments, collaborating with implementation teams and customers to develop advanced silicon platforms.

Experience Level

Senior level; more than 10 years of experience in SoC performance verification is preferred.

Responsibilities

As a member of the SOC emulation team, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting multiple emulation environments using advanced techniques.
  • Building early SoC platforms for performance and power analysis.
  • Developing testbenches for benchmarks and use cases on emulation platforms.
  • Collaborating with the Architecture team on test plans and SoC configurations.
  • Engaging with emulation vendors to create distributed systems for large netlist emulation.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience include:

  • Over 10 years of experience in SoC performance verification.
  • Expertise in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Proficient in RTL (SystemVerilog, Verilog, VHDL), C/C++, and scripting languages such as Python, TCL.
  • Experience in hybrid emulation environments and SystemC/SystemVerilog frameworks.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex solutions.

Preferred experience:

  • Experience with large multi-billion gate hardware emulation models.
  • Collaboration with design and software teams on verification tests and workloads.

Education Requirements

A background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science is required.
