Embedded Software QA Engineer, Internship

Role Summary

The Embedded Software QA Engineer internship involves participating in a software engineering team focused on developing Design-for-Test solutions. Interns will assist in testing and validating embedded software used in integrated circuits, with opportunities for hands-on experience and professional growth.

Responsibilities

As an intern, you will:

• Learn about Tessent Embedded Analytics and its application in System-on-Chip design.
• Support the quality assurance of Embedded Analytics solutions.
• Contribute to the development and execution of test plans, cases, and scenarios.
• Assist in verifying the functionality and reliability of analytic components.
• Participate in testing on Field-Programmable Gate Array-based platforms.

Requirements

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Interest in embedded systems and semiconductor technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills in a collaborative environment.
• Understanding of low-level hardware concepts.
• Proficiency in Python or C++ for test development; knowledge of pytest or Google Test is preferred.
• Basic understanding of software quality assurance methodologies is a plus.

Education Requirements

Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a technical degree program.
