Embedded Linux Engineer - AI
Role Summary
Join Arrow's engineering team to provide technical support and engineering for embedded AI solutions on NVIDIA Jetson and similar platforms. Work with customers, FAEs, sales, and suppliers to accelerate proof-of-concepts, system bring-up, and design-in activities.
Hybrid role: 3 days in office / 2 days remote. Based in Tlaquepaque, Mexico.
Experience Level
Mid-level β requires about 5+ years of experience with Embedded Linux systems.
Responsibilities
Primary technical responsibilities and customer-facing activities:
- Provide technical support for NVIDIA Jetson platforms: board bring-up, JetPack integration, BSP configuration, system integration, and hardware/software debugging.
- Deploy, optimize, benchmark, and troubleshoot AI inference workloads with focus on performance, latency, memory, and power.
- Work with AI acceleration and deployment tools such as TensorRT, CUDA, DeepStream, ONNX Runtime, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
- Support multimedia and computer vision pipelines: camera integration, video processing, sensors, and real-time processing.
- Collaborate with customers, NVIDIA FAEs, sales, and internal engineering teams on PoCs, demos, and design-in efforts.
- Create technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, demos, and internal enablement materials; deliver trainings and workshops.
- Diagnose and debug complex hardware/software integration issues and drive customer-facing technical initiatives.
- Support additional embedded systems or strategic initiatives as required.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience; concise list of core qualifications.
- 5+ years of experience with Embedded Linux systems.
- Hands-on experience with NVIDIA Jetson or similar embedded AI platforms.
- Experience deploying, optimizing, and troubleshooting AI workloads on edge or embedded systems.
- Familiarity with TensorRT, CUDA, DeepStream, ONNX Runtime, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks.
- Knowledge of Linux kernel, device drivers, BSPs, and bootloaders.
- Experience with computer vision, video analytics, perception systems, or edge AI applications.
- Strong debugging skills for hardware/software integration and performance optimization.
- Good communication skills and ability to work with customers and cross-functional teams; proactive ownership mindset.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, AI, or a related technical field is stated as required.
