Job Title

Electrical Validation Intern

Role Summary

Internship within Intel's Data Center Group (DCG) focusing on electrical validation of silicon products to support product readiness and quality. The role involves hands-on validation tasks, test automation assistance, data analysis, and experimentation with AI agents to improve validation environments.

Experience Level

Entry-level (Intern). Candidates should be current students with at least one year remaining; 6+ months of relevant experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Work under supervision to support electrical validation and related automation.

  • Perform debug and validation coverage activities to help ensure product readiness and quality.
  • Assist with test automation and development of validation infrastructure.
  • Analyze validation data and produce metrics to inform test coverage and results.
  • Develop or apply AI agents to improve the testing/validation environment and workflows.
  • Learn and document validation procedures; collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

Minimum practical skills, eligibility, and language needs.

  • Must-have: ~6+ months experience working with software and/or hardware for data-center related systems.
  • Must-have: ~6+ months experience participating in AI projects or using AI tools (examples cited: GitHub Copilot and similar).
  • Must-have: Intermediate to advanced English communication skills.
  • Must-have: Unrestricted, permanent right to work in Mexico (no visa sponsorship available).
  • Must-have if accepting an offer: ability to provide Mexican NSS, RFC and CURP identification numbers.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with computer links/interfaces such as Ethernet, PCIe, memory and other I/O technologies.
  • Experience using measurement equipment (oscilloscope, etc.) and platform-level configuration.
  • Familiarity with office productivity tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
  • Scripting or programming experience, ideally Python.

Education Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, with at least one year remaining as an active student. Qualifications may also be met via a combination of relevant work experience, internships, coursework, or research.
