Role Summary

Entry-level electrical engineering role on the Annapurna Labs team within AWS Utility Computing. The engineer will work on semiconductor design, verification, bring-up, and integration of chips for AWS cloud infrastructure.

You will work on components that support AWS compute and storage platforms and help move designs from concept to production.

Experience Level

Entry-level — targeted at recent graduates or students in their final semester (8th semester) seeking a full-time position.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities focus on chip design and verification across the product lifecycle.

• Develop and design semiconductor technologies and IP for cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate on architecture definition and RTL/logic design for computing platforms.
• Participate in comprehensive chip verification, including simulation and test methodologies.
• Support chip bring-up and integration into AWS data center environments.
• Contribute across the product lifecycle from initial concept through mass production.
• Use design tools, scripting, and automation to solve engineering problems and improve workflows.

• Knowledge of Verilog and SystemVerilog.
• Familiarity with Universal Verification Methodology (UVM).
• Strong scripting and programming skills (for automation and verification flows).

Education Requirements
