Electrical Engineer
Role Summary
Entry-level engineering role on the memory interface verification team responsible for digital verification of memory data buffer chips (DDR5, DDR6 and next generation) used in datacenter and AI/cloud applications.
The role focuses on creating and executing verification plans, building reusable UVM testbenches, integrating and testing at block and system level, and ensuring designs meet functional and performance specifications.
Experience Level
Entry-level - Bachelor's degree with up to 2 years of experience, or recent master’s graduate with no experience.
Responsibilities
Primary verification and testbench ownership for assigned blocks and features.
- Verify DDR5 data buffer functionality and performance against specifications.
- Integrate and test at system level and block level using UVM methodology.
- Develop and maintain verification plans, tests, coverage metrics, and checkers.
- Design efficient, reusable verification environments and testbench structures.
- Optimize verification solutions for reusability, performance and usability.
- Identify and communicate process or design improvements to enhance verification and design quality.
- Take ownership of assigned verification environments and related tools; act as expert user.
- Provide regular status updates on verification progress to management.
Requirements

- Experience (or demonstrated capability) verifying high-speed memory interfaces, particularly DDR5/DDR6 data buffers.

- Skill in integrating and validating designs at block and system level.
- Ability to produce reusable, maintainable verification environments and improve verification processes.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with design teams and report status to management.
Education Requirements
