Role Summary
Design, implement, verify and integrate high-performance digital ASICs and FPGAs for aerospace and defense systems as part of the Product Enabling Technologies team. Work includes RTL design, verification, and hardware integration for deployed products.
Experience Level
Entry-level: 0β1 years relevant professional experience (12 months or less).
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Capture requirements and contribute to ASIC/FPGA digital architecture.
- Implement RTL-based digital designs for ASICs and FPGAs.
- Support verification, simulation, and system integration of ASIC/FPGA implementations.
- Debug hardware and perform root-cause analysis using schematics and digital lab equipment.

- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
- 0β12 months of relevant professional work experience (internships excluded).
- Proficiency in RTL coding and simulation (VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog).
- Experience with ASIC/FPGA design tools (for example: Modelsim, Quartus, Vivado).
- Experience debugging hardware and performing root-cause investigations with digital lab equipment.
- Understanding of digital circuit architecture and resource tradeoffs.
- Knowledge of revision control concepts and tools (e.g., Git, Subversion).
- Nice-to-have: familiarity with signal processing or information assurance and simulation tools (Matlab, Simulink).
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field (as specified in the posting).
