EDA Tools Hardware Engineer
Work on backend design automation and implementation methodology (RTL to GDSII) for advanced technology nodes to enable SoC development and tapeout. The role supports flow and tool development, interactions with product teams, PDK/library experts, and EDA vendors to ensure production-quality design enablement.
Position is eligible for Intel's hybrid work model and is based in Penang, Malaysia.
Mid-level β typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience in Physical Design, synthesis, place-and-route, timing methodologies, or flow development.
Responsible for developing and supporting physical design methodologies, tools, and flows to enable SoC tapeouts and design ramp-up.
Key technical skills and experience (must-have vs. nice-to-have):
BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering is specified in the posting.
