Role Summary

Siemens EDA is seeking a Senior Software Developer specializing in Algorithm Development and Computational Geometry to join the Aprisa team. The role focuses on developing and modifying algorithms, particularly related to computational geometry, impacting physical partitioning algorithms.

Senior Level with 5+ years of industry experience.

Responsibilities

Main responsibilities include:

  • Developing new algorithms and modifying existing ones related to computational geometry.
  • Prioritizing project schedules and meeting development and training expectations.
  • Collaborating closely with team members and reporting to the software development manager.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Proven expertise in algorithm development, especially in computational geometry.
  • Strong proficiency in C/C++ for high-performance solutions.
  • Experience with EDA design file formats and software programming techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin.

Nice-to-have qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Linux, Shell scripting, TCL, and multithreaded implementations.
  • Familiarity with RTL languages like Verilog or VHDL.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
