DRAM Product Test Development Engineer
Role Summary
Develop and validate product test programs, algorithms, and automation for DRAM devices to enable manufacturing release and ensure product quality. Work within the test department to support new product introductions, equipment validation, yield analysis, and cross-site coordination.

Responsibilities
The role focuses on test development, debugging, validation, and cross-functional support to ensure high-quality DRAM product delivery.
- Design and implement new tests and test algorithms covering software, hardware requirements, defect coverage, characterization, and test time optimization.
- Develop test programs on automated test equipment using primarily Python and C, and release validated programs to manufacturing.
- Lead new product introduction (NPI) activities and perform pre/post-silicon check-out.
- Develop test automation solutions and perform electrical validation and qualification of test equipment and tools.
- Independently debug test issues, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate feedback with other teams.
- Provide statistical analysis and justification for program validation and release to ensure program quality.
- Evaluate and verify yields/quality with global teams to ensure products meet datasheet specifications.
- Support experiments and initiatives to improve yield or capacity by resolving test issues affecting site performance.
- Maintain daily tactical and weekly project updates showing progress against timelines.
- Drive innovation and improvements aimed at reducing cost of test and develop new processes/capabilities across sites.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and capabilities required to perform the role; preferred items listed separately.

Must-have: Knowledge of fundamental electrical engineering applicable to memory devices and test hardware.
- Knowledge of digital systems and digital logic.
- Strong logical thinking and problem-solving ability applied to programming and test debugging.
- Familiarity with general-purpose programming logic; experience with C/C++ or Python.
- Basic Unix/Linux command-line skills.
- Semiconductor device knowledge and semiconductor manufacturing experience.
- Basic English proficiency and ability to work in a multi-national, multi-functional team (team environment uses English and Chinese).
Nice-to-have:
- Basic knowledge of semiconductors and transistor operation.
