Job Title

DLP Process Engineer

Role Summary

Support manufacturing process development and continuous improvement for a 300mm analog wafer fabrication facility in Taoyuan, Taiwan. The engineer will implement and optimize manufacturing procedures, support production ramps, execute process experiments, and drive yield, efficiency, and quality improvements.

Hands-on, team-oriented role collaborating with manufacturing, equipment engineering and cross-functional stakeholders to resolve process issues and deliver production targets.

Experience Level

Mid-level. No specific years stated; role expects demonstrated process-support and analytical experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include supporting production, implementing process improvements, and resolving manufacturing issues.

  • Support manufacturing operations and maintain continuous production flow in a high-volume 300mm wafer fab.
  • Develop and implement improved manufacturing methods, procedures, and processes to increase yield, efficiency, and quality.
  • Implement projects and improvement plans for efficiency improvements, cost reduction, quality programs and new product support.
  • Perform lot and equipment dispositions to minimize cycle time and support production.
  • Identify systematic process or equipment problems and communicate findings to engineering teams.
  • Support manufacturing ramp with execution of equipment/process startup and process experiments (SWRs).
  • Participate in data analysis, root-cause investigation, and problem resolution.

  • Must-have: Strong foundation in statistical process control (SPC), engineering change control, and process release strategies.
  • Must-have: Experience in data analysis and problem solving within a manufacturing environment.
  • Nice-to-have: Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions.
  • Nice-to-have: Time-management skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrated ability to build influential relationships and drive results.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field. Degree level specified as Bachelor's.
