Display ASIC Design Engineer (Sr level and up)

Role Summary

This role involves working as a Design Engineer on the Display team, responsible for display architecture across various market segments including mobile, automotive, compute, XR, and IoT. The engineer will engage with a multi-disciplinary team to define, develop, and commercialize new display features.

Experience Level

Senior level with a minimum of 4 to 6 years of relevant experience depending on educational background.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities include:

• Identify use cases and workloads for display IP.
• Define and document architectural features for multiple markets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project specifications.
• Provide technical oversight during ASIC development.
• Mentor junior design engineers.
• Utilize advanced problem-solving practices in architecture, design, or verification issues.
• Communicate regularly with team members to ensure alignment on project goals.

Requirements

Must-have skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field with 6+ years of experience, or a Master’s with 5+ years, or a PhD with 4+ years in ASIC design.
• Experience in designing features for various market segments.
• Expertise in power management, memory hierarchies, and display interfaces.
• Proficient in both written and verbal communication.
• Experience with embedded software development and presentations to stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field is required, with advanced degrees preferred.
