Director of Engineering - Verification IP

Role Overview

The Director of Engineering for Verification IP will engage in developing comprehensive verification intellectual properties for various industry-standard interfaces, including PCIe, USB, and DDR protocols among others. This position allows you to work closely with teams that influence technological advancements across multiple sectors.

Position Summary

This position is based in Austin, TX, and encompasses both leadership and technical roles, requiring collaboration with customer-facing teams to address and solve customer requirements effectively. It demands experience in leading teams through complex design and verification tasks.

Level of Experience

Candidates should have a minimum of 15 years in RTL design, IP development, and verification. A strong background in related technologies is essential, along with proven leadership capabilities in formal engineering roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee verification IP projects ensuring quality and performance.
• Collaborate with customer-facing engineers to facilitate successful deployments and problem resolutions.
• Drive innovation and best practices across verification methodologies within the engineering team.

Required Skills

• B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics or related field is required.
• Strong knowledge and experience in RTL design and verification processes.
• Familiarity with SystemVerilog, UVM, and other verification methodologies.
• Understanding of standard bus protocols such as PCIe, CXL, and Ethernet.
• Background in SystemC testing and performance metrics at the system level is preferable.

Education Requirements

Applicants should hold at least a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics or a related field from a recognized institution.
