Role Summary
Executive leadership role accountable for GlobalFoundries' internal IP portfolio and end-to-end program delivery. Lead scoping, resourcing, statement-of-work execution, lifecycle management, release, customer support, and functional safety compliance.
Build and lead a high-performing global team to deliver high-quality GF IP with operational rigor and measurable customer impact.
Experience Level
Senior β requires 15+ years of relevant experience in semiconductor technology development, design enablement, or program management.
Responsibilities
Lead and operate the internal IP function and delivery processes at scale.
- Own GFβs end-to-end IP portfolio across business units, aligned to technology roadmaps and customer programs.
- Lead IP program execution including scoping, statements of work, resource strategy, cross-functional alignment, scheduling, and risk management.
- Manage full IP lifecycle: development, release, sustainment, and end-of-life, including governance and legacy IP strategy.
- Ensure compliant, high-quality delivery (QMS/ISO, FuSa) and provide L2 customer support and escalation management.
- Drive version control, release workflows, and governance to ensure business continuity and traceability.
- Prioritize cross-BU initiatives, embed customer feedback into design assurance, and lead continuous improvement efforts.
- Recruit, develop, and lead a global team focused on scalable execution and operational excellence.
Requirements
Must-have technical and leadership qualifications.
- 15+ years of relevant experience in semiconductor technology development, design enablement, or program and portfolio management.
- Proven experience in complex program execution and structured problem solving.
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional, global teams and delivering at scale.
- Deep understanding of IP lifecycle management, QMS processes, and compliance requirements (for example, ISO standards).
- Experience in customer engagement, issue resolution, and driving high-quality outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder management across engineering, product, and customer-facing teams.
Nice-to-have:
- Direct experience in IP development or design enablement environments.
- Experience driving operational excellence, process transformation, and measurable business outcomes.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Physics, or a related field (as stated in the posting).
