Role Summary

Lead the analog/power IC design organization in Bengaluru to deliver next-generation power management products. Translate product strategy into technical goals, define design IP, process and packaging requirements, and align cross-functional teams to meet cost, performance, and time-to-market targets.

The role includes building and growing a global design team, coordinating across the larger design community, and engaging directly with customers to ensure system-level fit.

Experience Level

Senior — typically 20+ years industry experience with at least 10 years of management experience.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities:

• Set technical direction and priorities in collaboration with product management.
• Define design IP, process technology, and packaging requirements to meet portfolio targets.
• Direct IC design and verification teams to deliver on cost, performance, and schedule objectives.
• Identify and adopt tools and methodologies to improve development time and product quality.
• Integrate new capabilities across cross-functional groups and align product development plans.
• Recruit, develop, and retain top design talent; grow a global team aligned to the roadmap.
• Collaborate with the larger design community to share IP, resources, and methodologies.
• Engage with customers to understand application and system-level requirements.

Requirements

Must-have and core qualifications:

• Extensive experience in power management IC design (must-have).
• Proven track record managing development of commercially successful power IC products (must-have).
• Experience building and managing global engineering teams and delivering against a product roadmap (must-have).
• Strong communication skills and broad technical knowledge (must-have).
• Ability to align technical goals with business strategy and work with cross-functional stakeholders (must-have).

Education Requirements

BSEE required (Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering); MSEE preferred. Equivalent practical experience accepted. Relevant fields include Electrical Engineering or related technical disciplines with emphasis on analog/power management and IC design.
