Role Summary

We are seeking a Staff Engineer in Digital Test Engineering to lead test program bring-up and validation from NPI through high-volume manufacturing. This position involves resolving test issues on advanced technology nodes, improving test efficiency, and working closely with cross-functional teams.

Experience Level

Senior-level position requiring 8+ years of relevant experience in Test Engineering.

Responsibilities

Main responsibilities include:

  • Leading test program development and bring-up across NPI and high-volume manufacturing stages.
  • Debugging and resolving issues related to coverage, test time, and yield.
  • Driving test efficiency and cost reduction through optimization and simplification.
  • Analyzing test and yield data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including DFT, Design, Yield, Reliability, Product, and Test Engineers.
  • Communicating with technical teams and management, adjusting detail levels as needed.

Requirements

Applicants must satisfy the following requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of Test Engineering experience (or Bachelor’s degree with equivalent industry experience).
  • 8+ years of hands-on SoC test program bring-up experience.
  • Experience with structural, functional, and high-speed tests, and test-related characterization methods.
  • Hands-on experience with Advantest 93K or Teradyne UltraFLEX/iFlex platforms.
  • Proficiency in programming or scripting languages such as C++, VB, Java, or Python.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools like O+, Data Power, or Exensio.
  • Experience in test method or test library development.

Education Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field, with relevant work experience as outlined, is required.
