Digital IC Design Senior Staff Engineer
Role Summary
Lead the architecture, RTL implementation, and delivery of one or more digital blocks for Marvell's next-generation network switch products. Work within a development team responsible for IP definition, design, and verification to meet area, timing, power, and functional requirements.
The role requires close collaboration with verification and backend teams to ensure alignment from block definition through tape-out readiness.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include ownership of digital block design and ensuring block readiness for integration and physical implementation.
- Own one or more digital blocks from architecture definition through implementation and handoff.
- Lead RTL design and implementation, including area and timing optimization.
- Perform linting, CDC/RDC analysis, and address design-rule issues.
- Work with synthesis, static timing analysis (STA), and power-optimization flows to meet targets.
- Coordinate with verification engineers to support and align block-level verification activities.
- Collaborate with backend/physical-design teams on constraints, floorplanning, and signoff readiness.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and professional attributes (degrees summarized separately below).
- 3–8 years of industry experience in digital design. (Must)
- Proficiency in RTL design using Verilog or SystemVerilog. (Must)
- Experience with linting, CDC/RDC tools, synthesis, STA, and power-optimization tools. (Must)
- Familiarity with backend flows and physical-design constraints. (Must)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail. (Must)
- Effective communicator and team player; able to learn complex systems quickly. (Must)
- Experience with SystemVerilog and UVM-based verification. (Nice-to-have)
Education Requirements
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field from a recognized university (as specified in the posting).
