Role Summary

The Digital IC Design Engineer will be part of the Embedded Processing business, focusing on developing system-on-chips (SoCs) for embedded applications. This role involves driving Design for Test (DFT) strategy, architecture, and implementation for low-power microcontroller SoCs, ensuring high test coverage and manufacturing quality.

Experience Level

Senior level; 8+ years of hands-on DFT experience required.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities include:

  • Define DFT strategies for complex SoCs.
  • Manage DFT architecture and implementation.
  • Ensure high test coverage and cost-effective production testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful tape-outs.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience include:

  • 8+ years of experience in DFT within semiconductor/ASIC/SoC design.
  • 3+ years in a lead or architect role.
  • Expertise in DFT techniques such as scan design, ATPG, and boundary scan.
  • Understanding of industry-standard DFT tools and low-power DFT methodologies.
  • Experience with hierarchical DFT approaches and ATE platforms.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree required.
