Job Title

Digital Engineer for Integrated Circuits (Graduate)

Role Summary

Join a mixed-signal design team developing digital sub-systems and wrappers for automotive microcontroller modules in modern CMOS technology. The role focuses on RTL implementation and advanced verification within small international project teams.

Work closely with product-definition and analog-design engineers to deliver validated digital modules for automotive body electronics, motor control and comfort applications.

Experience Level

Entry-level / Graduate. Suitable for recent graduates; no explicit years-of-experience requirement provided.

Responsibilities

Primary duties include digital design, verification and documentation for mixed-signal automotive modules.

  • Collaborate with product-definition and analog teams to define digital requirements and architecture.
  • Develop technical solutions and implement them down to RTL level.
  • Create internal and customer-facing documentation for modules.
  • Ensure functional correctness using advanced verification methods (SystemVerilog simulation, assertions, formal verification) and operate in a UVM environment.
  • Support validation and system integration activities to ensure reliable module performance.
  • Leverage AI tools and scripting to automate tasks and increase development efficiency.
  • Work within small international project teams and participate in cross-functional knowledge sharing.

Requirements

Essential technical skills and behaviours required for the role.

  • Experience with hardware description languages: Verilog preferred, or VHDL.
  • Familiarity with verification of digital and/or mixed-signal circuits: SystemVerilog testbenches, assertions, and formal verification.
  • Hands-on exposure to digital circuit design concepts, including clock and reset strategies (can be via academic or project work).
  • Experience working in UNIX/Linux environments and with scripting languages (Perl, Python, TCL, or similar).
  • Good English communication skills and ability to work in an international team.
  • Security-conscious and reliable working style; candidate may perform tasks in scope of security certifications.

Nice-to-have:

  • Knowledge of UVM and advanced verification flows.
  • Experience with EDA/CAD tools (Synopsys, Cadence, etc.).
  • Practical experience using AI-assisted scripting or automation tools.

Education Requirements

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field is expected ("Master Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar"). The posting references academic or project work as acceptable evidence of hands-on experience. The role may involve work in scope of security certifications.
