Role Summary

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) is seeking a Digital Design Engineer to support the microarchitectural design and RTL implementation for PCIe and CXL IP in next-generation products. The role involves a blend of creative and analytical skills, requiring collaboration with various teams to define and execute advanced design features.

Experience Level

Ideal candidates should possess over 8 years of experience in the ASIC industry, demonstrating proficiency in ASIC design practices and familiarity with high-speed protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct microarchitectural design and RTL implementation of IP features.
  • Participate in design specification and RTL code reviews.
  • Collaborate with the Design Verification team.
  • Analyze RTL designs for power and timing optimizations.
  • Establish and configure ELAB/CDC/Lint/UPFG flows.
  • Manage integration environments for RTL design.
  • Coordinate with integration teams for workflow optimizations.
  • Configure and maintain P4 (Perforce) repositories and file structures.

Education Requirements
