Digital Design Architect, HPC IP

Role Summary

Lead architecture and RTL development for high-performance IO IP (DDR, PCIe, CXL/UAL, UCIe). Act as the technical owner for protocol cores, drive design direction, and ensure successful integration and verification across teams.

Collaborate with system, verification, physical design, and product stakeholders; mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

• Define and develop ASIC RTL design and verification at both chip and block levels.
• Create and execute design plans for complex digital designs focused on DDR, PCIe, CXL/UAL, and UCIe IO protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure correct integration and functionality.
• Apply advanced design and verification methodologies and tools to meet quality and schedule targets.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers; promote best practices and continuous improvement.
• Communicate technical decisions and status to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in ASIC RTL design and digital architecture.

• Effective communication skills and demonstrated leadership/mentoring ability.
