Role Summary

Join the Annapurna Labs / AWS Nitro semiconductor engineering team to develop and deploy Design-for-Testability (DFT) strategies for advanced cloud infrastructure chips. The role partners with chip design, verification, and test teams to deliver robust, production-ready silicon for AWS Nitro systems.

Experience Level

Mid-level — requires 4+ years of DFT experience in a semiconductor company.

Responsibilities

The role focuses on DFT strategy, test pattern generation, chip bring-up, and collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams.

• Develop and implement DFT strategies for advanced semiconductor platforms.
• Generate and optimize test patterns using ATPG and related methodologies.
• Collaborate with design, verification, and system teams to ensure testability and silicon quality.
• Perform chip bring-up support and lifecycle test management.
• Contribute to architectural definition and logic design with a focus on testability.
• Support gate-level simulation and integration-level verification activities as needed.

Requirements

• Must-have: 4+ years of hands-on DFT engineering experience in a semiconductor company; proven experience delivering DFT implementations and test patterns.
• Must-have: Practical experience supporting chip bring-up and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Nice-to-have: Proficiency with Verilog/SystemVerilog and verification methodologies.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with ATPG and scan insertion tools, gate-level simulation, and static timing analysis.
• Nice-to-have: Scripting skills (Perl, Tcl) and experience working in international, collaborative teams.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering is required (as stated in the basic qualifications).
