Job Title
DFT Engineer, Graviton Team
Role Summary
Design and implement design-for-test (DFT) architectures and test infrastructure for Graviton SoC platforms within Annapurna Labs at AWS. Collaborate with RTL, verification, CAD and silicon teams to ensure testability, support silicon bring-up, and enable robust manufacturing and in-field diagnostics.
Experience Level
Mid-level β approximately 3+ years of semiconductor industry DFT engineering experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Design and implement advanced DFT architectures for complex SoCs.
- Develop high-quality test and debug patterns for manufacturing and in-field testing.
- Perform comprehensive static timing analysis across multiple DFT modes.
- Verify DFT logic and components through gate-level and functional verification.
- Support silicon bring-up, device diagnostics, and hardware debug activities.
- Collaborate with RTL, verification, CAD and system teams to integrate DFT solutions.
Requirements
Key qualifications and skills.
-
Must-have: 3+ years experience as a DFT engineer in a semiconductor company.
-
Must-have: Strong knowledge of DFT architectures, scan-based test methods, and test pattern development.
-
Must-have: Experience with static timing analysis and gate-level verification of DFT logic.
-
Must-have: Hands-on experience supporting silicon bring-up and device diagnostics.
-
Nice-to-have: Experience with Verilog/SystemVerilog, scan insertion tools, ATPG, and gate-level simulations.
-
Nice-to-have: Familiarity with verification platforms (UVM), FPGA/emulator environments, and scripting (Perl/Tcl or similar).
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent; or equivalent practical experience.
