Job Title

DFT Engineer, Graviton Team

Role Summary

Work on Design-for-Test (DFT) architectures and test implementations for high-performance Graviton SoC platforms at Annapurna Labs (an AWS semiconductor team). The role focuses on DFT architecture design, test pattern development, timing analysis, verification, and supporting silicon bring-up and diagnostics.

Experience Level

Mid-level β€” requires 3+ years of experience as a DFT engineer in a semiconductor company.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and validate DFT features for complex ASIC/SoC platforms and support device-level bring-up.

  • Design and implement advanced DFT architectures for complex semiconductor platforms.
  • Create high-quality test and debug patterns to ensure robust test coverage and yield.
  • Perform static timing analysis across multiple DFT modes and flows.
  • Verify DFT logic and components through simulation and verification methodologies.
  • Support silicon bring-up, device diagnostics, and failure analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, verification, validation, and test) to integrate DFT solutions.

Requirements

Core must-have skills and experience, followed by common preferred skills.

  • Must-have: 3+ years of experience as a DFT engineer in a semiconductor company.
  • Must-have: Practical experience designing and implementing DFT architectures and developing test/debug patterns.
  • Must-have: Experience with static timing analysis and gate-level verification of DFT logic.
  • Must-have: Experience supporting silicon bring-up and device diagnostics.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience with Verilog and SystemVerilog and RTL-level DFT insertion.
  • Nice-to-have: Familiarity with scan insertion tools, ATPG, and gate-level simulations.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience with verification platforms (UVM), FPGA/emulator environments, and advanced scripting (Perl/Tcl).

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent practical experience. The posting explicitly allows equivalent experience in place of a degree.
