DFT Design Engineer

Role Summary

The DFT Design Engineer role is ideal for recent graduates and early-career professionals looking to develop expertise in Design for Test (DFT). In this position, you will contribute to the quality and performance of Intel's silicon products through the design and verification of robust DFT features, impacting the company's ability to deliver high-quality products efficiently.

Experience Level

Entry-level position suitable for recent graduates; no prior experience in DFT is required.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing logic design and implementing DFT architectures including SCAN, MBIST, BSCAN, and TAP.
• Collaborating on the definition of architecture and microarchitecture features for DFT blocks.
• Optimizing logic to meet power, performance, area, timing, test coverage, and defect goals.
• Generating RTL and structural code for DFT integration.
• Executing verification plans to ensure design specifications are met.
• Resolving RTL test failures and implementing corrective measures.
• Supporting customers for successful integration of DFT blocks.
• Developing high-volume manufacturing (HVM) test content for production deployment.
• Collaborating with post-silicon teams to verify features in silicon.

Requirements

Minimum qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in DFT.
• This position requires onsite presence 4 days per week in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Preferred qualifications include familiarity with DFT techniques, RTL coding, and programming skills in TCL, Python, Perl, or C++.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
