Job Title

Design Verification Engineer (Einfochips)

Role Summary

Perform RTL/SoC design verification using SystemVerilog/UVM and C/C++ testbenches for client ASIC/semiconductor projects. Work with verification teams to develop test plans, implement verification components, run simulations, debug failures, and drive coverage and closure.

Role is client-facing and typically based at a client office (Austin, TX preferred) or other Arrow client locations; travel to customer sites and regular status reporting are expected.

Experience Level

Mid-level β€” requires approximately 6+ years of relevant verification experience.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute verification test plans for IP/SoC designs.
  • Implement BFM/Driver/Monitor/Scoreboard components and integrate them into UVM testbenches.
  • Create and maintain C++/C testbench components and SVTB/UVM environments.
  • Perform stress and corner-case testing, gate-level simulation, and assertions-based verification.
  • Debug functional failures, analyze results, and drive root-cause investigations.
  • Work toward coverage closure and document verification status.
  • Report progress to clients and stakeholders on a regular basis.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience:

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience with SystemVerilog HVL and C/C++ for verification.
  • 6+ years of experience with UVM-based verification methodology.
  • Experience across the full verification cycle: test plan, environment development, integration, simulation, debug, and coverage closure.
  • Proficient with SVTB/UVM and C++ testbench development.
  • Strong debug skills and experience writing assertions.
  • Scripting experience (Make, Perl, Python or similar).
  • Ability to communicate progress and issues to customers and teams.

Nice-to-have:

  • Familiarity with DSP concepts.
  • Experience with Subversion, Bugzilla, or similar tools.
  • Experience with gate-level simulation and working with various protocols.
  • Experience working onsite at client locations and willingness to travel.
