Role Summary

Join an ASIC Product Division design team to develop and verify SoC subsystems and embedded IP. The role focuses on creating verification environments and testcases to validate system- and block-level RTL designs and closing verification gaps with design engineers.

Experience Level

Senior — posting prefers 12+ years of relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

• Develop verification environments using SystemVerilog and UVM.
• Design UVM agents, behavioral models, and verification components.
• Implement coverage metrics and SystemVerilog assertions.
• Create random and directed testcases against specifications.
• Analyze and debug simulation failures and coverage results.
• Collaborate with design teams to identify and resolve verification issues.

Requirements

Must-have and preferred skills:

• Must-have: Strong experience with RTL verification methodologies and ASIC design verification flows; proficiency in SystemVerilog.
• Must-have: Experience verifying designs at system and block level and strong independent debug capability.
• Must-have: Experience with object-oriented verification (UVM/OVM) and scripting; working knowledge of C/C++ for verification tasks.
• Must-have: Strong verbal and written communication and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Must-have: Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Preferred: Experience with C++/SystemC, emulators, and FPGA-based prototyping.
• Preferred: Familiarity with CPU, DDR, bus/network protocols or DSP design and overall chip design methodologies and tools.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent; equivalent practical experience is acceptable. The posting also references extensive industry experience (preferred 12+ years).
