Role Summary
Join the Automotive Networking team in Hyderabad to plan and execute evaluation strategies for FPGA prototypes and automotive networking ASICs. The role spans platform bring-up, system-level validation, silicon characterization, and release readiness.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include planning and executing silicon and platform evaluations, debugging issues, and delivering repeatable test and measurement solutions.
- Plan and execute evaluation strategies for FPGA prototypes and automotive networking ASICs from bring-up through validation and release readiness.
- Develop, execute, analyze, and debug complex silicon test cases and system-level tests.
- Perform silicon measurements and characterization using lab equipment; capture and analyze measurement data.
- Design, prototype, and use evaluation board hardware and customer bench solutions.
- Automate lab equipment and test flows; develop test software and data analysis scripts.
- Identify technical risks, troubleshoot complex issues, and work with cross-functional teams to resolve them.
- Produce clear technical reports and present results to engineering and product stakeholders.
- Travel as required for the role (approximately 10% travel).
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience followed by preferred skills.
- Must-have: Strong proficiency in C and Python.
- Familiarity with analog electrical circuit theory.
- Familiarity with digital logic fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment and measurement techniques; comfortable working with hardware, boards, and test fixtures.
- Ability to develop and debug test automation and perform data analysis to support characterization.
- Willingness to work in a hands-on lab environment.
- Preferred: Object-oriented programming experience; experience with microcontroller platforms (Arduino, Raspberry Pi) and integrating sensors/actuators.
- Working knowledge of Ethernet and networking concepts and serial interfaces (SPI, I²C, UART).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reports and presentations.
