Design Engineer

Role Summary

NXP India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a talented and motivated Design Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and verification of cutting-edge semiconductor products. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative technologies within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Senior level, with 8-10 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

The Design Engineer will be responsible for:

• Designing, implementing, and verifying digital and/or analog circuits and systems according to product specifications.
• Developing and executing test plans, analyzing results, and debugging complex hardware issues.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including architecture, verification, physical design, and software to ensure successful product development.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and methodologies in semiconductor design.
• Identifying and proposing solutions for design optimizations, performance enhancements, and cost reductions.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong foundational knowledge of digital and/or analog circuit design principles.
• Proficiency in hardware description languages (e.g., Verilog, VHDL) for digital design roles.
• Experience with EDA tools for simulation, synthesis, and verification (e.g., Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor Graphics).
• Hands-on experience in CDC, Lint, RDC, UPF, CLP/VCLP.
• Familiarity with one or more protocols like AXI, AHB, APB, Arm IPs, PCIe, Serdes, DDR, Safety, Security.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
