Design Engineer
Monolithic Power SystemsJob Title
Design Engineer
Role Summary
Design analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits for power-management products using sub-micron BiCMOS/DMOS processes. Work covers sub-block design through verification and layout supervision for switching regulators, linear regulators and high-voltage circuits targeted at portable and non-portable markets.
Experience Level
Entry-level; 2β3 years of relevant analog IC design experience.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include design, verification and support through product release:
- Design analog and mixed-signal sub-blocks for power-management ICs.
- Participate in the full product development cycle from product definition to release.
- Perform circuit verification and supervise layout implementation.
- Develop switching, linear and high-voltage circuit topologies for power applications.
- Prepare technical documentation and communicate project status in English.
Requirements
Core must-haves and relevant preferences:
- 2β3 years of hands-on analog IC design experience.
- Solid foundation in analog and mixed-signal circuit design.
- Experience with verification flows and supervising/layout coordination.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Familiarity with BiCMOS/DMOS process technologies and power-regulator topologies is a plus.
