Design Automation Engineer, Scribe Design Non-Array

Role Summary

The Scribe Design Non-Array (SDNA) team is responsible for the design, layout, and verification of CMOS electrical test structures that enable CMOS device development. This role involves working with engineers globally to contribute to physical layout and verification processes.

Experience Level

Senior, with 5+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

• Identifying areas for improvement and developing innovative solutions.
• Evaluating and implementing new tools to enhance automation flows.
• Submitting patent disclosures and research papers.
• Providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications include:

• Advanced understanding of EDA tools and CAD flows.
• Experience with programmatically defined P-cell devices for CMOS modules.
• Proficiency in SKILL/SKILL++ for schematic and layout automation.
• Deep knowledge of Python for data processing and tool enhancement.
• Understanding of CMOS process manufacturing and layout design rules.
• Working knowledge of Linux.
• Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

Education Requirements

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics Engineering.
