Role Summary

The role involves leading the verification efforts for DDR interfaces in server memory products, specifically focusing on advanced protocols like DFI, DDR5, and LPDDR5. The candidate will guide a team in ensuring high performance and successful verification sign-offs, leveraging their expertise in SystemVerilog and related technologies.

Experience Level

Senior level with significant experience in verification, specifically pertaining to server memory systems and DDR interfaces.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities include:

• Leading verification strategies for DDR5, LPDDR5, and DFI memory systems.
• Comprehending the SOC as a complete system, ensuring alignment of HW, FW, BIOS, and SW.
• Working cross-functionally with architects to resolve complex technical issues.
• Contributing to verification methodology and knowledge sharing.
• Managing architecture analysis and technical solutions for marketing/feature changes.
• Collaborating with design teams for performance and verification sign-offs.
• Supporting post-silicon teams for debugging and resolution of issues.

Requirements

The requirements for the position include:

• Expert-level knowledge of SystemVerilog, UVM, C/C++, and scripting languages like Python/Perl.
• Proven track record in high-performance server memory environments.
• Experience with developing testbenches and functional coverage models for DDR5 and LPDDR5 systems.
• Strong communication, management, and presentation skills.
• Collaboration experience among diverse teams in various geographic locations.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related discipline preferred.
